General Laborer/Swamper

Position Summary:
We are actively hiring motivated and reliable General Laborers / Swampers to support our field operations team. This role requires frequent travel, physical labor, and the ability to work in varying job site conditions while maintaining a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of physically demanding construction-related tasks including excavation work, site prep, and general labor duties.
   
• Safely operate or assist with operation of specialized equipment (vacuum trucks, coring equipment, slingers, concrete mixers, etc.).
   
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all job sites, adhering to all safety protocols and wearing provided PPE at all times.
   
• Attend all required safety meetings and complete work in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
   
• Assist with the maintenance and daily inspection of trucks, trailers, and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
   
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and professionally.
   
• Travel frequently as job sites require (up to 75% of the time). Hotel accommodations, per diem, and cell phone allowance provided while traveling.
   

Preferred Experience (Not Required but a Plus):

• Prior experience operating vacuum trucks, coring equipment, slingers, or working in industrial construction.
   
• Previous swamper or excavation experience.
   
• Strong mechanical aptitude or general construction experience.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid D Class Driver’s License with a clean driving record.  
• Must successfully complete the pre-employment screening process, including:  
  • Background check  
  • Drug screen  
  • Motor Vehicle Record check  
• Comfortable working in labor-intensive, physically demanding conditions (dirty, dusty, noisy work areas).  
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends, based on project needs.  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
