J. Baur Machining is a manufacturing company located in Mars, PA. We have been a leader in precision machining and contract manufacturing for over 40 years. We are family-owned business made up of about 20 amazing employees. We utilize automated CNC technology and feature 18 CNC machines in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. We love Mazak, Multi-Tasking equipment!

Who Are We Looking For:
First Shift Schedule - General Labor/Shipping & Receiving: Your set schedule would be Monday thru Thursday, 7AM - 3:30pm and Friday 6AM-2:30PM. This is a consistent Monday thru Friday daylight position at 40 hours per week. Overtime is available upon company needs.

We are looking for a General Labor/Shipping & Receiving Coordinator who understands how to operate basic hand and power tools. This candidate must be willing to be certified as a Fork Lift Operator. As a General Labor, you will be expected to keep Shipping/Receiving area clean and organized on a daily basis, along with the Parts Finishing/Deburr area. Your day could vary from parts finishing, to unloading trucks, to checking in parts and packaging orders. You will also be asked to assist with routine machine maintenance. What Your Day May Look Like:

Packing parts for shipping/Checking in parts from out-processing
Deburring parts / parts finishing operation using various deburring tool and grinding equipment.
Sweep, clean, and organize the shop floor. Move material to machining centers.
Assist in shipping and receiving department with unloading trucks.
Complete routine maintenance on equipment and assist maintenance with cleanings and repairs.

The Perfect Candidate:

Ability to obtain Fork Lift certification.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, vendors, and customers.
Ability to use and operate hand or power tools and finishing tools.
Ability to stand/walk for your shift.
Adhere to physical demands of lifting (limit 40 lbs) and carrying (limit 30 lbs) throughout your shift.
Team Player with a great attitude that can work well with others and be able to take correction. We are a small company that strives for a pleasant work environment for all.
Must be able to pass a drug and background check.

Taking Care of You:
This position's pay is highly regarded to the level of experience that they bring to Baur Machining. Pay is at an hourly rate and will be negotiated based on your experience but ranges $15-$19.
