About the Role:
The firms Woodbridge, NJ office is seeking a General Liability Partner with significant litigation experience. This hybrid role offers the chance to handle complex defense cases, mentor junior associates, and contribute to a high-performance legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and develop strategies for new litigation files.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and legal advice.
• Oversee discovery, draft legal memoranda, and prepare for trial.
• Draft, file, and argue substantive motions and appeals.
• Attend pretrial hearings and represent clients at trial.
• Coordinate with internal teams to manage caseloads efficiently.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in New Jersey, in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience (civil liability focus).
• Preferred background in: Commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM claims, Premises liability, Construction accidents and Product liability.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-discovery tools.
• Strong legal writing, case management, and team collaboration skills.
