General Maintenance

This position is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of our facilities and grounds. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of power tools, basic repair techniques and seasonal maintenance duties.

Key Responsibilities:

· Grounds maintenance to include mowing and general landscaping

· Snow plowing parking areas and general snow removal from sidewalks and walkways

· Assisting with general repairs, such as plumbing, carpentry, etc.

· Responding to maintenance requests as assigned. 

· Adhering to sound safety and housekeeping practices

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman work

· Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical systems

· Ability to operate power tools and landscaping equipment

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Problem-solving – analytical skills to diagnose and fix machinery problems

· Safety Awareness: adherence to safety protocols and regulations

· Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Valid drivers license required
