Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile General Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment and systems, such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance tasks. This position also includes being "on call" for our rental properties.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment and systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and system malfunctions, and recommend repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Perform regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify potential maintenance issues, and create reports of findings.
- Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform basic welding, fabrication, and installation tasks as needed.
- Maintain and repair mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, and conveyors.
- Maintain records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
- Rotate between on-call technicians on a calendar basis.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or trade certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general maintenance, with a wide array of skills.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance tasks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and system malfunctions, and recommend repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
