Description

The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems and equipment. This role supports overall facility operations by ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment while responding to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Position Starts: 9/1/2026

Pay: $26.00/hour.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
Complete preventative maintenance tasks and scheduled inspections
Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely manner
Troubleshoot and repair issues related to equipment, fixtures, and facility infrastructure
Maintain and repair doors, flooring, lighting, ceilings, and other building components
Assist with minor installations, equipment setup, and facility improvements
Conduct routine facility walkthroughs to identify maintenance or safety issues
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies
Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies
Document work performed and update maintenance systems or logs
Support emergency maintenance and after-hours needs when required

Qualifications

Must have a Valid Driver's License
2–4 years of general maintenance or facilities experience
Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs across multiple trades
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Good communication and customer service skills
Basic computer skills for work order systems
