General Maintenance/Groundskeeping/Driver

The role of the Maintenance Operator is to maintain the buildings and grounds of an organization and the upkeep of equipment and supplies. Maintenance Operators make sure the buildings and grounds are maintained, which entail ongoing cleaning schedules as well as determining and scheduling repairs, renovation projects, waste reduction improvements and safety inspections. Also must to able to transport clients.

Age of Patient Population Served:  Adult (18 & older)

Population Served:  Persons meeting DSM5 criteria for substance use disorders with or without co-occurring psychiatric illness

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained. Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.


• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances.


• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting. Clean and stock restrooms. Clean up spills with appropriate equipment. Collect and dispose of trash.


• Mows lawns, trims weeds, and rakes leaves as assigned.


• Picks up and removes trash prior to mowing a designated area.


• Empties trash and recycling containers
