Job Overview:
The General Manager at Southeast Elevator is responsible for overseeing the operations, financial performance, and growth of the South Florida region. This role requires a strategic leader with strong operational expertise and a focus on team development, customer satisfaction, and brand growth. The GM will manage field operations, service, and sales, ensuring seamless coordination across these departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the region’s revenue growth and financial outcomes, ensuring profitability, installation revenue growth, and service revenue growth meet bonus objectives.
Oversee all operational aspects, including field operations, installations, service, and sales, and resolve challenges like customer satisfaction, fleet management, and vendor issues.
Lead hiring efforts, collaborate with HR, and make final hiring decisions. Manage and develop employees, promote high performers, and address underperformance.
Ensure comprehensive training and preparedness across all segments and foster a positive work culture aligned with Southeast Elevator’s core values.
Ensure the Southeast Elevator brand represents quality and excellence within the region by delivering top-tier customer service and promoting safety.
Maintain safety protocols and reduce accidents to ensure Southeast Elevator remains a great place to work.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing teams with a focus on operational leadership.
Strong financial acumen, including budget management and revenue growth.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for managing teams and resolving customer and vendor issues.
Commitment to fostering a positive and safety-conscious work environment.
Prior experience in the elevator industry, construction, or a related field is highly preferred.
Skilled in identifying operational challenges and implementing effective solutions.
Experience with relevant software (e.g., ERP, CRM systems) to manage operations, track performance, and optimize efficiency.
Compensation:
Base salary with potential to earn up to 35% of annual salary in bonuses, based on performance in profitability, installation growth, service revenue, quality, and safety.
