Job Description - General Manager

Are you a proven hospitality leader ready to take charge of a thriving resort? We’re searching for a Resort General Manager who will oversee every aspect of resort operations—from financial performance to guest satisfaction.  This is more than a management role—it’s an opportunity to shape unforgettable guest experiences, empower a dedicated team, and ensure our resort continues to shine as a premier vacation destination.


What You’ll Do

  • Own the numbers: Drive financial performance, manage budgets, authorize expenditures, and safeguard revenue integrity.
  • Lead with excellence: Oversee front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services to deliver seamless experiences.
  • Deliver distinction: Ensure we consistently meet service thresholds and uphold our RCI Silver Crown status.
  • Solve and resolve: Handle guest and owner concerns with professionalism, turning challenges into opportunities.
  • Coordinate & oversee: Manage vendor relationships, inspections, repairs, and emergency responses with precision.
  • Build a winning team: Recruit, train, coach, and inspire staff to exceed expectations while fostering growth and accountability.
  • Engage & improve: Actively monitor guest feedback and reviews, implementing improvements to elevate satisfaction.
  • Be the face of the resort: Maintain professional, polished standards while representing the property with integrity and pride. 

Requirements

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience: At least 5+ years of successful leadership in vacation ownership or hospitality management.
  • Financial savvy: Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate budgets, P&L performance, and business metrics.
  • Tech smart: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management systems.
  • People-first leadership: A track record of motivating, mentoring, and managing diverse teams.
  • Guest-focused mindset: Strong communication skills and a natural ability to resolve issues with professionalism and care.
  • Hands-on operator: Comfortable coordinating everything from HR responsibilities to property upkeep.
