We’re entering our next chapter of growth and looking for a General Manager who can bring strong leadership, accountability, and operational excellence to the team.

The Opportunity

This is not a status quo role — it’s a leadership opportunity to run the entire operation and scale a company with an incredible reputation.

The GM will oversee all business units, including:

  • Service (Commercial & Residential)

  • AOR (Add-On/Replacement)

  • New Construction (Commercial & Residential)

  • Hydronics/Plumbing

  • Refrigeration

  • Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)

  • Facilities

  • Sales & Marketing

  • Finance/Administration

You’ll work closely with department heads, drive company performance, and ensure Premier Systems runs as efficiently and profitably as possible while protecting and growing our culture.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead with Accountability: Oversee all department leaders, ensuring they hit scorecards, follow processes, and deliver results.

  • Own the Numbers: Manage the P&L, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are consistently met.

  • Streamline Operations: Standardize processes across HVAC, plumbing, hydronics, refrigeration, IAQ, and new construction for efficiency and scalability.

  • Develop Leaders: Build, mentor, and retain high-performing managers who can grow their teams.

  • Champion the Client Experience: Ensure a hassle-free journey for every client, stepping in on escalated concerns when needed.

  • Execute the Vision: Translate ownership’s strategic direction into daily execution, keeping the company aligned and on track.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years leadership experience in the trades (HVAC, plumbing, hydronics, electrical, and/or construction).

  • Proven ability to build and lead managers while holding teams accountable.

  • Strong financial acumen (experience driving profitability and managing budgets).

  • Decisive, respected, and fair leader with a track record of results.

  • Growth mindset — always improving processes, systems, and people.

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: $110,000 – $150,000+ annually, including performance-based bonuses tied directly to company profitability.

Job requirements

Required:

  • 7+ years General Manager experience.

  • 7+ years leadership experience in the trades (HVAC, plumbing, hydronics, electrical, or construction).

  • Proven ability to build and lead managers while holding teams accountable.

  • Strong financial acumen (experience driving profitability and managing budgets).

  • Decisive, respected, and fair leader with a track record of results.

  • Growth mindset — always improving processes, systems, and people.

  • Strong computer and communication skills.

  • Valid Driver’s License with no infractions.

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Preferred:

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, hydronics, electrical, IAQ, and construction, local codes, schematics, and best practices.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or Construction Management.
