General Manager

Position: General Manager – Multi-Property Food Service
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–4:00 PM (No Nights, No Weekends)

The General Manager oversees multiple café and coffee bar operations across properties, ensuring excellence in service, quality, and profitability. This role requires hands-on leadership, strong business acumen, and the ability to support operations directly, including barista work and delivery driving when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management:
• Oversee daily operations for multiple café and coffee bar locations.
• Ensure brand standards, food safety, and quality control are met across all properties.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to manage kitchen and café teams effectively.
• Customer Engagement:
• Build strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and drive repeat business.
• Actively seek feedback and address customer concerns promptly.
• Sales & Marketing:
• Implement strategies to increase café and catering sales.
• Oversee signage, labels, and promotional materials for consistency and accuracy.
• Team Leadership:
• Recruit, train, and mentor team members for both front- and back-of-house roles.
• Create staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all locations.
• Step in as a barista when needed to maintain service flow.
• Financial Management:
• Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and maximize profitability.
• Oversee payroll, inventory control, and cost tracking for all properties.
• Logistics & Delivery:
• Hold a valid driver’s license to operate the company delivery vehicle.
• Coordinate and execute deliveries between properties as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing multiple food service or café locations.
• Strong barista skills and ability to train staff on coffee preparation.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in financial management, payroll, and sales reporting systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
