Our Midtown location, the original location of Mama's Pizza, has been open since 1977! This location would be requiring a hands-on leader who can drive operational excellence while managing a full-time and part-time workforce.

Position Overview

As the General Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring smooth daily service, high food quality, and an engaged team culture. You’ll lead a team and will be responsible for hiring, training, and motivating staff. This role is ideal for an experienced, hands-on leader with a strong quick-service or fast-casual background who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• Hire, train, and develop staff, including a younger, high-school-aged workforce.
• Lead by example with a hands-on approach, especially during peak hours.
• Ensure high standards in food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Oversee scheduling, inventory management, and vendor relationships.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any service or operational challenges.
• Monitor sales, labor costs, and food costs to drive profitability.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations.
• Bilingual or multilingual is highly preferred.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated and adaptable leader who brings passion and expertise to the role. The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a quick-service or fast-casual setting.
• Strong leadership skills, especially in developing and mentoring young employees.
• A hands-on, lead-by-example management style.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Experience managing high-volume takeout & delivery operations is a plus.

Work schedule

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability
• 10 hour shift
