4 Rivers Smokehouse is seeking a senior restaurant leader to join our Lakeland / Tampa market. This role will be based in Lakeland, with the expectation that the leader is flexible to support the broader market as needed. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced General Manager or a high-performing Assistant General Manager who is ready to step into a GM-level role within a high-volume, purpose-driven organization.

Placement will be in Lakeland, with flexibility across the market based on business needs.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily front- and back-of-house operations for a high-volume smokehouse
• Support in-house catering by helping plan, prepare, and execute catering production in the kitchen
• Develop, coach, and lead managers and hourly team members
• Drive operational excellence, including labor, food cost, inventory, and overall performance
• Deliver consistent, high-quality guest experiences through strong standards and culture
• Partner with the current General Manager to provide shared leadership and operational support
• Act as an additional GM-level leader in the restaurant, strengthening coverage, execution, and team development
• Step in to lead the business during vacations, peak periods, or special initiatives
• Collaborate with market leadership to coach managers, uphold standards, and support long-term growth across the Lakeland / Tampa market

What We’re Looking For

• Proven General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a fast casual or high-volume restaurant environment
• GM-ready leadership skills with the ability to take full ownership of restaurant operations
• Strong operational and financial acumen, including scheduling and cost controls
• Hands-on leadership style with a focus on team development and accountability
• Comfort with restaurant systems and performance metrics (Restaurant365, Schoox LMS, etc. a plus)
• Willingness to be flexible and support locations within the Lakeland / Tampa market
