We are looking for an experienced, detail oriented, and energetic General Manager. In this job, the general manager will focus on the big picture and making strategic decisions for their district. This role is responsible for leading change and supporting the team from a managerial standpoint. Ability to push forward and lead the organization to develop positive outcomes. Essential Functions
Manages all aspects of the regional P&L Manages the sales effort for the region and provides guidance and direction to the supervisors and managers overseeing all other aspects of the business Manages the business to ensure maximum profitability Lead the company in the continuous search for new and innovative ways to increase volumes and profits Review and approve the necessary capital expenditures/expenses Overall responsibility of Plant and Office Personnel Direct Operations and Sales Personnel to effectively operate as an efficient organization Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and customer service Review systems with appropriate managers to provide effectiveness in all departments Encourages subordinates to achieve their full potential through effective communication, leadership, coaching and training Executes initiatives necessary to accomplish company strategic goals Promotes a culture of continuous improvement while supporting the company's core values Frequent coordination with other Combined Metals Companies supervisors/managers within the region
Travel as required

Proficient skill level for Microsoft Office Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional verbal/written communication skills and presentation skills Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, resourcefulness, objectivity Confidentiality Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Managerial experience Innovative Ability to lead people and get results through others
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business Admin/Management or similar industry experience is preferred. 5+ years of supervisory and/or managerial experience. Ability to lead a team while driving operational excellence. Experience in distribution; steel and wire preferred.
