Responsibilities:
The General Manager (Executive Director) is responsible for the day-to-day operations and occupancy of theAgeWell Solvere Living Managed Community to include financial management; businessplanning; development, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of program services;management of staff; and delivery of high-quality services to Residents and their families. The General Manager (Executive Director), in addition to being responsible for the operations and occupancy of thecommunity, is required to proactively communicate with their direct supervisor any situationthat might pose a threat to the community in any way
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field
Excellent customer service and public relations skills
Experience working with seniors
Experience in successfully operating and maintaining a customer-focused environment
Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office
Meets all current requirements of the state for Independent Living communities, and any amendments
Must have demonstrated integrity, and leadership skills
Possesses a sincere passion for working with our senior population
Promotes the Community in a positive manner and effectively communicates the Community's values to Residents, families, visitors, and team members
Physically able to bend and reach
Physically able to push and pull and lift up to 40-50 pounds if necessary
Physically able to stand for extended periods of time
Spends at least 30% of time on travel to referral sources in market area
Miscellaneous:
Required to work weekends and holidays as assigned
May be video recorded from devices installed by families in residents' apartments
May have picture taken and image used in social media or community advertising
Subject to potential exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including HIV, AIDS, and Hepatitis B & C and other communicable diseases
Background, criminal, and drug test as required
Must be in good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases
