Job Description - General Manager Luxury Dog Resort Expanding to Dallas (Opening December 2025)

Position: General Manager 
Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 + Monthly Performance Bonus
Training: 1–2 weeks in Los Angeles (all expenses paid)



About Us:


A luxury L.A.–based dog resort is expanding to Dallas! After more than a decade of success in California, we’re bringing our signature blend of safety, sophistication, and fun to Texas with our next flagship resort opening this December.


Our Dallas location will feature private dog suites for overnight boarding and a supervised cage-free daycare environment where dogs can safely play and socialize throughout the day. From synthetic turf yards and shaded cabanas to wading pools and plush indoor spaces, every detail is designed for joy, comfort, and safety.


We’re seeking an experienced, motivated General Manager to lead this launch, build and inspire a local team, and uphold the brand’s reputation for excellence as we expand into Texas.



What We Offer:


$60K–$70K annual salary (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:


Oversee daily operations across all departments — Daycare, Boarding, Grooming, Front Office, and Facilities


Hire, train, and develop team members; conduct reviews and performance management


Build and maintain strong client relationships and handle service concerns


Ensure adherence to existing policies and procedures and create new ones as needed


Manage scheduling, payroll coordination, cash handling, and inventory


Prepare and submit all necessary operational and financial reports


Oversee marketing and social media engagement


Coordinate maintenance and vendor relations


Shuttle pups to the vet as needed to ensure their well-being


Maintain compliance with Texas safety and employment regulations



Requirements:


3+ years of management experience (hospitality, pet care, or operations preferred)


Excellent leadership and communication skills


Comfort working around dogs of all sizes


Proficient with business software (Gingr a plus)


Valid Texas Driver’s License


Available weekends and holidays


Passionate about dogs and committed to quality care



Timeline:


Training in Los Angeles begins late November | Dallas grand opening mid-December 2025
