Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and results-driven General Manager to lead our team during the fast-paced tax season. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, cultivate a high-performing team, and ensure a seamless client experience. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Inspire, guide, and manage a dynamic team of tax professionals to achieve their best
- Organize schedules, delegate responsibilities and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations
- Foster a positive and productive work culture that prioritizes collaboration and success.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee all aspects of office operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.
- Identify and resolve workflow challenges quickly and effectively during peak periods.
- Monitor performance metrics and productivity goals.
Client-Centered Focus
- Promote a client-first approach to deliver exceptional service and build trust
- Address client inquiries and resolve concerns promptly, maintaining professionalism and care.
- Uphold confidentiality and ensure compliance with all tax-related regulations
Performance & Growth
- Set and drive team goals, rewarding achievements, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Act as a problem-solver and resource for your team, ensuring everyone has the tools to succeed
- Use insights and feedback to continuously refine processes and improve results.
What We’re Looking For:
Skills & Experience
- Proven leadership experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment (tax preparation experience not required, but is a plus).
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for motivating staff and interacting with clients.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance targets.
- Basic familiarity with tax preparation processes is helpful but not required; training will be provided.
