Joe Lunghamer Chevrolet is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Receptionist/Cashier to join our team. This role is often the first and last point of contact for our customers, making professionalism, accuracy, and a positive attitude essential. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Greet customers and visitors promptly and professionally
Answer and direct incoming phone calls
Announce customers to appropriate departments (Sales, Service, Parts, etc.)
Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk and lobby area
Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
Process customer payments accurately (cash, check, credit/debit)
Balance daily cash drawer and prepare deposits
Issue receipts and maintain transaction records
Work closely with Service and Sales departments to ensure billing accuracy
Handle customer questions regarding invoices and payments
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous receptionist, cashier, or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills (POS systems, email, data entry)
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask and remain professional under pressure
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Automotive dealership environment
May require evening and/or Saturday hours
Fast-paced, customer-facing role
