Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Superintendent to join our team. The General Superintendent will oversee all field operations for our civil construction projects in the renewable energy sector. This role requires extensive travel to project sites across the Southwest and beyond to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Sendero Energy Services is located in Houston, Texas, however, assignments require travel to various locations in Texas, Arizona, or New Mexico. This successful candidate must be willing to travel and work from remote areas where our projects are located.

1. Field Operation & Supervision

Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues promptly.
Oversee equipment and material logistics to ensure timely delivery and utilization.
Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site.

2. Team Leadership & Workforce Management

Hire, train, and manage field crew members for various projects.
Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and efficiency.

3. Project Coordination & Quality Assurance

Ensure compliance with project specifications, schedules, and safety regulations.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to achieve project goals.
Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of workmanship.

Earthwork & Site Preparation: Clearing & Grubbing, Grading & Leveling, Soil Excavation, Pad Preparation, Soil Stabilization.
Drainage & Utilities: Stormwater Management, Fireline Installation, Headwalls & Culverts.
Structural Concrete: Precast Foundations, Cast-In-Place Concrete, Equipment Foundations, Rebar Placement.
Pile Driving: Foundation Setting, Alignment Verification, Load Testing.
Equipment Setting: Facility Equipment Installation, Equipment Hoisting & Setting, Logistics Coordination.
Ancillary Civil Work: Road & Bridge Construction, Secure Fencing, Temporary Facilities, Electrical Trenching & Backfill.
Professional Services: Site Consultation, Project Budgeting, Value-Engineering, Surveying Services.
Project Management: Strategic Planning, Resource Allocation, Timeline Supervision, Quality Assurance, Change Management.
Carbon Capture: Facility Equipment Installation, Equipment Hoisting & Setting, Logistics Coordination.
Process Piping: Carbon Steel, Aluminum, Stainless.
Brownfield Remediation: Contamination Cleanup, Waste Disposal, Site Rehabilitation, Environmental Restoration, Reuse Planning & Development.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
Extensive knowledge of renewable energy construction practices and standards.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in construction management software and tools.
Commitment to safety and quality.
Willingness to travel extensively to various project sites.
