General Superintendent

LHH is

hiring a General Superintendent for a civil construction company in Albuquerque, NM. As General Superintendent, you will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of field operations across various construction projects. Your leadership will ensure that projects are delivered efficiently, meeting both high standards and client expectations.
Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee the activities of Division Superintendents, ensuring all field operations align with strategic goals.

Develop a thorough understanding of project strategies and client commitments through active participation in pre-bid and pre-construction meetings.

Provide leadership and technical guidance to ensure project plans are executed effectively, maintaining high standards of work quality and safety.

Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and timely resolution of any field issues.

Monitor project schedules and budgets, implementing measures to maintain targets and optimize resources.

Uphold company standards for safety and compliance across all job sites, working closely with the Safety Director and CFO.

Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports, maintaining clear and effective communication with senior management and client representatives.

Requirements:
BA/BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

Minimum of 15 years of field management experience, with at least 5 years in a Superintendent role.

Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale construction projects with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate teams.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to make decisions quickly and effectively.

**This is a full-time position** offering a salary range of $115,000-$200,000 annually and also includes benefits such as dental and health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan.
