$205 - $205 an hour

Operating Room Surgical Cases: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
No call requirements
Requirements:
ABS certification
BLS, ACLS
DEA
Any state medical license
Responsibilities:
Clinical Care: Perform in-clinic procedures and provide outpatient and inpatient consultations.
Operative Management:Estimated 1-5 general surgical cases daily
Continuum of Care:Follow patients through admissions, preoperative assessments, intraoperative care, and postoperative follow-up.
Documentation:Maintain electronic medical records in the VA’s Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS/VistA).
Quality Improvement:Participate in VA Surgical Quality Improvement Program (VASQIP) and peer review activities
Common Procedures: Abdominal/GI, Colorectal, Oncology, Endoscopy, Wound Care/Soft Tissue
