Job Description - General Surgery Job Outside Houston TX

Hospital-based practice seeks a General Surgeon to replace a departed physician, creating an exceptional opportunity to inherit an established & busy practice. Join 3 General Surgeons in a supportive environment with shared 1:4 call & 24-hour Anesthesia coverage. Step into an active referral base & can expect to be busy from day one, seeing approximately 15-18 patients daily & performing 20-30 surgeries per month.

Surgical responsibilities include EGD, colonoscopies, hernia repairs, bile duct stone management utilizing SpyGlass technology, appendectomies & reflux procedures. Compensation package offers a generous salary, incentives, sign-on bonus, benefits, relo/vaca/CME, retirement, malpractice & student loan repayment assistance through FQHC-eligible, MUA & HPSA-designated programs. Enjoy easy access to Houston, the Gulf of Mexico & nearby cities.
