General Surgery Physician Assistant

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a skilled and reliable Physician Assistant to support a General Surgery practice in Sandy Springs, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider looking for a consistent, outpatient-only schedule with no surgeries and no call duties.

In this role, you will focus on clinic visits and minor procedural work, providing high-quality care to approximately 10–15 patients per shift.

Key Highlights

• Setting: 100% Outpatient / Clinic setting.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Scope of Practice: Clinic visits and small procedures (lump and bump removals). No operating room surgeries required.
• Volume: Manageable workload of 10–15 patients per shift.

• Licensure: Active Georgia state license is strictly required.
• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Experience: Must be comfortable performing small office procedures independently.
• Certifications: Active DEA required. (Controlled Substance Permit is not required).
• EMR: Proficiency with Epic is preferred.
• Flexibility: Ability to float between nearby locations is required.
