General Technician - Air Testing

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Receive air sampling media and equipment and data entry of customer data sheets
2. Ship air sampling media and equipment
3. Data entry QC for data sheets
4. Assembly of purchased air sampling kits
5. Customer support calls and emails to ensure customers have needed information and they stay on schedule
6. Load sample air filters for shipping
7. Clean and assemble microbial analytical media
8. Clean and test equipment for shipping
9. Weigh air filters for shipping and after receiving from customers
10. Perform on-site air testing at select customer facilities
11. All other duties as assigned

CUSTOMERS SERVED (EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL): All TRI Air Testing customers and employees

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate or equivalent. 

JOB PREREQUISITES:

• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work well in a team setting environment
• Ability to work and stay on task with minimum supervision
• Ability to complete the same task repetitively and consistently
• Ability to travel 1-2 business days per week if needed 

PHYSICAL CHALLENGES:

1. Good hand eye coordination
2. Attention to detail
3. Good memory recall

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position does not have any supervisory responsibility.
