General Worker (Landscaper)

JOB SUMMARY

Performs any and a combination of the following tasks to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and orderliness in the hotel.  To ensure guest rooms, working areas and the hotel’s premises in general in a clean and orderly manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform gardening and landscaping duties.


• Washes walls, ceilings, steps, patios, walkways, doors and window screens of the hotel rooms and public areas. Moves and arranges furniture, turns mattresses, hangs or removes fixtures, ornaments or pictures in guest rooms and offices as required.


• Perform the specified duties at any of the properties of the Ocean Hotels Group.


• Assist in any area that falls within your division. Perform any ancillary and / or related duties as may be assigned by Management.


• Assist in unspecialized jobs that involve construction, moving materials, sweeping, cleaning, etc .


• Adheres to Company policies, standards, and procedures, including Health and Safety, Fire Prevention, Hygiene and Discipline.


• Comply with the Covid 19 Safety Protocols


• Assists in the lifting of heavy items more than 30lbs.


• In addition to the duties which this job normally entails, you will be required to be completely flexible in this position and must be prepared to undertake such other work as may be assigned to you by the Company from time to time.  Such work can be done outside the area of your normal duties.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. (lifting above the shoulder is also required)

• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.


• Positive attitude and an outgoing personality are essential.


• Must be able to work shifts. (days, evening, weekends, holidays
