Generalist Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger and bank accounts.


• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.


• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.


• Reconcile daily revenue, cash receipts, and credit card settlements.


• Support payroll processing and related reconciliations.


• Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.


• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.


• Assist with audits and other financial projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.


• Two or more years of accounting experience; hospitality experience is a plus.


• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.


• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
