Job Description - Generalist Talent and Culture



Position Summary


Under general guidance, responsible for the successful execution of Talent & Culture practices and policies for assigned client groups, including but not limited to employee relations, recruitment and staffing, training, employee engagement, and benefits.


Essential Job Functions



  • Investigates employee relations and workers’ compensation issues in collaboration with Talent & Culture Management; presents recommendations and ensures documentation is complete. 

  • Conducts employee onboarding/orientation and offboarding/exit interviews; compiles reports, analyzes trends, and makes training recommendations. 

  • Administers employee engagement programs.

  • Facilitates formal and informal employee and management training programs; ensures administrative processes are completed timely and accurately. 

  • Completes regulatory reporting, including EEO-1, OSHA 300/301, workers’ compensation, and unemployment; ensures processes are accurate and timely. 

  • Mentors and trains Talent & Culture Administrator and/or Administrative Support roles. 

  • Assists employees, vendors, and customers with questions related to Talent & Culture processes, procedures, and services. 

  • Completes full-cycle recruitment, including posting positions, interviewing, selection, and onboarding; ensures administrative processes are completed timely and accurately.

  • Stays current on industry technologies, trends, and strategies. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned. 


Minimum Qualifications



  • Two (2) years of progressive Human Resources experience.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related experience. 

  • SAP HR systems experience.

  • Food production environment experience. 


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA’s)



  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 

  • Ability to identify problems, evaluate options, and implement solutions. 

  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization. 

  • Ability to build professional relationships and foster collaboration. 

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain professionalism. 

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality. 

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, based on assigned client group. 


 


Physical Requirements



  • Office environment with sitting, walking, standing, and occasional physical movement. 

  • Frequent use of hands and vision for office equipment. 

  • Ability to communicate verbally and via phone or other devices.
