Job Description - General/Vascular Sonographer

Pay Range:

$35.92 - $53.88

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

HSHS is seeking a Diagnostic/Medical/Vascular Sonographer. Ideal candidates are patient focused mission driven individuals comfortable working independently with all age groups using a variety of imaging equipment and systems.Candidates with experience or interest in Breast Imaging are preferred.

Position Specifics:
• Imaging Focus: Diagnostic/Medical/Vascular
• Core Function: Imaging
• Schedule: 20 hours weekly - varied start times between 6am-8:30am (8 hour shifts), on call every 4th weekend, holiday rotation
• Facility: St. Clare Hospital but to cover at St. Vincent Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital as well when needed
• Location: Oconto Falls, and Green Bay, WI
• Sign on Bonus: $5,000

Education Qualifications

  • Graduate of or currently enrolled in an allied health program is required.
  • Associates degree in allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

  • Experience in ultrasound/sonography preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
  • OR must be eligible to sit for the RVT or RVS exam AND must obtain registry within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
