Generator Technician

1 Resource Group is seeking experienced Generator Technicians to join our client's team of Technicians to cover the Summerville,SC area.  This is a direct hire position, offering great benefits and company perks and one of the top equipment companies in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• - Install, maintain, and repair power generators
• - Diagnose and troubleshoot generator issues
• - Test and inspect generators to ensure they meet safety standards
• - Perform preventative maintenance on generators
• - Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects
• - Communicate effectively with customers and team members
• - Manage inventory and order parts as needed

Requirements:

• - High school diploma or GED
• - Certification in Generator Technology preferred
• - At least 4 years of experience in generator installation, maintenance, and repair
• - Knowledge of electrical systems and generators
• - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• - Willingness to travel as needed and work in varying weather conditions
