Job Description- GIS SpecialistRequirements:Bachelors in GIS, Geography, Geographic Sciences, Geosciences, Engineering, Resource Mapping, Computer Science, or related field2-5 years of professional level GIS experience supporting a utilityThorough understanding of Esri suite of productsWorking knowledge of geodatabases, georeferencing and spatial and attribute data entry and editingDemonstrated ability to solve complex problems and recommend the best track for data development and processingPassionate about leveraging geospatial technology and data-driven solutionsAbility to quickly learn new skills and abilities with database technologies, data modeling, and scriptingAbility to function independently and as a team memberAbility to handle multiple assignments and changing prioritiesAbility to work effectively with limited direct supervisionNice to have:GIS CertificationExperience publishing with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online for ArcGIS, including data versioning, multiuser environments, and automated replicationExperience with development and deployment of field GPS and data collection systems including Esri mobile applicationsExperience converting data between CAD and GISProficiency with linear referencing techniques and conceptsFME software experienceUtility Pipeline Data Model (UPDM) and utility network experienceLaserfiche or other document/content management system experienceModel BuilderPythonplease apply directly by emailing your resume to [email protected]
