Job Description - Georgia SLP Jobs Now Hiring

Full-Time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist | 2025–2026 Academic Year

Join a student-centered team committed to inclusive, effective communication support. This full-time, on-site role is based in a K–12 setting and is ideal for a communication specialist who is passionate about helping students overcome speech and language challenges to thrive in both academic and social environments.

As the SLP, you’ll deliver comprehensive services that include assessing, diagnosing, and treating a range of communication disorders. You'll play a vital role in developing individualized therapy plans aligned with each student's IEP, tracking progress, and adjusting strategies to meet evolving needs. Your contributions will extend beyond direct therapy—supporting teachers and families with tools and strategies to reinforce communication skills in everyday learning.

Key responsibilities include conducting thorough evaluations, writing detailed reports, contributing meaningfully to IEP meetings, and ensuring documentation aligns with district and state guidelines. Additionally, you’ll serve as a resource to staff by offering guidance and training to promote consistent, supportive practices across classrooms.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a mission-driven team that values student-centered care and collaborative problem-solving.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field. Candidates should either possess or be eligible to obtain licensure to practice speech-language pathology in the state of Georgia. Additionally, a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is required or preferred, depending on the position.
