Jorgensen Associates, Inc., a well-established engineering firm with 50 years of experience in Jackson, Wyoming, is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to join our team as a Geotechnical Project Manager in our Jackson or Pinedale office. Please note this is not a remote position

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct geotechnical analyses, calculations, and design to support various engineering projects.
     
  • Provide technical oversight and mentorship to less experienced staff.
     
  • Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and executing geotechnical projects.
     
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, budget, and timeline expectations.
     
  • Collaborate with team members, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.

Requirements

 Requirements:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wyoming or ability to obtain licensure.
     
  • Proven experience in geotechnical engineering design, analysis, and consulting.
     
  • Strong ability to understand project requirements and execute defined scopes of work.
     
  • Valid driver’s license required.


Qualifications:

  • Strong foundation in soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering principles.
     
  • Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills.
     
  • Ability to effectively communicate project requirements to team members and clients.
     
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
     
  • Experience presenting technical information to clients, managers, and the public.
