Purpose

The Supplements Team Member supports the Supplements Department by delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining product quality and displays, and supporting overall store operations in alignment with Good Foods Grocery's mission and standards.

General Responsibilities

• Follow all GFG and Commonwealth Autism policies and procedures.


• Monitor work email as needed during business hours for communication.


• Support GFG’s goals and community involvement.


• Communicate any department needs or concerns during your shift.


• Help maintain a respectful, productive, and team-oriented work environment.


• Ensure responsibilities are covered during scheduled absences.


• Maintain professional growth and actively contribute to the department’s success.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Interact with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.


• Assist customers with locating products and providing accurate information.


• Take customer feedback and communicate it to the appropriate supervisor.


• Help ensure the supplements section is clean, organized, and visually appealing.

Product Quality & Merchandising

• Stock shelves and displays following proper rotation procedures.


• Inspect products for freshness and quality.


• Maintain signage accuracy and assist with promotional displays.
  

Inventory Support

• Assist in receiving shipments and checking for accuracy and condition.
  


• Follow proper storage and rotation procedures to reduce waste.


• Notify the department manager of customer product requests.

Sanitation & Safety

• Follow all store sanitation and food safety guidelines.


• Participate in regular cleaning routines and assist with deep cleaning schedules.


• Ensure shelves and displays are neat and free of expired or damaged products.

Community Engagement Support

• Assist with Commonwealth Autism initiatives as needed, such as supporting interns or providing guidance during in-store training.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours a day with breaks.


• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.


• Visual acuity (corrected or natural) to read small labels and signage.


• Manual dexterity to handle products and operate a point-of-sale system, if needed.
