Day to Day responsibilities:

The IT GIS Data Administrator will oversee GIS software, its components, and associated data, acting as the main contact for the enterprise GIS infrastructure. A proficient understanding of GIS endpoints and architecture, along with strong project management & communication skills to serve as a liaison between stakeholders and IT teams will be required for success in this position.

The IT GIS Data Administrator will be responsible of installing and maintaining GIS software on servers, managing user accounts and permissions, overseeing web services and apps, ensuring best practices, and monitoring GIS enterprise system performance. Additionally, they collaborate with IT staff and vendors, anticipate and resolve issues, document processes, ensure security compliance, and contribute to strategic plans and enhancements for the GIS system.Must Have Skills:Proficiency with Esri Enterprise Administration for Users and its key components (ArcGIS platform, ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Portal)Day to Day administration experience. Installing and maintaining GIS software on servers, managing user accounts and permissions, overseeing web services and apps, ensuring best practices, and monitoring GIS enterprise system performance.Strong communication & previous experience coordinating between various stakeholders + internal teams.Nice to Haves
