GIS Developer / Geospatial Analyst

The international IT company Intetics is looking for an experienced GIS Developer / Geospatial Analyst to join our team.

The role involves developing and analyzing geospatial solutions that support project monitoring, investment analysis, climate and environmental reporting, and impact assessment. You will work with modern GIS technologies, spatial databases, Python-based geospatial tools, and enterprise analytics platforms to deliver scalable and reliable geospatial applications.

• Develop and maintain GIS applications and geospatial solutions.
• Perform spatial analysis and process geospatial datasets.
• Build and maintain geospatial ETL pipelines.
• Develop integrations with ArcGIS, QGIS, and enterprise analytics platforms.
• Work with spatial databases and web mapping services.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and proper documentation of spatial models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver geospatial insights and analytical solutions.

Requirements

• Experience with GIS development and spatial analysis.
• Hands-on experience with ArcGIS and/or Esri APIs.
• Experience using QGIS and open-source geospatial tools.
• Strong knowledge of spatial data processing and quality control.
• Experience building geospatial ETL workflows.
• Proficiency with Python geospatial libraries such as GeoPandas, GDAL, or ArcPy.
• Experience working with spatial databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, WMS, WFS, or similar geospatial web services.
• Experience integrating GIS solutions with enterprise analytics platforms.

Nice to Have:

• Experience integrating geospatial data with Power BI.
• Experience building Azure-based geospatial solutions.
• Experience with PostGIS or GeoServer.
• Experience in agriculture, climate, environmental, or international development projects.
