Mirage Glass & Mirror is currently growing their commercial and residential glass company and is seeking an experienced Glass & Glazing Estimator to join their team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately evaluating project costs, preparing competitive bids, and supporting project coordination from preconstruction through execution.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of estimating experience in the glass and glazing industry
• Strong understanding of door hardware, glass specifications, storefront systems, and metal systems
• Experience estimating and bidding in structural glass walls, Storefront Systems, Door Hardware, Metal Systems, Skylight Projects etc.
• Proficient in blueprint reading, take-offs, and estimate preparation
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Professional presentation and customer-facing sales skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in both commercial and residential projects preferred

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial and residential glass projects
• Evaluate project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope and costs.
• Perform quantity take-offs and compile detailed cost estimates
• Obtain and analyze vendor and supplier quotations for materials, hardware, and glazing systems
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitive advantages to support the bidding process
• Resolve cost discrepancies through research and analysis
• Conduct site visits, field measurements, and project assessments as needed
• Assist with project coordination and preconstruction activities
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and project documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Prepare professional correspondence and communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and project stakeholders
