THE WORK:

As the Technical Security Program Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of Ripple's Global Security strategy for all physical security systems. This includes overseeing the entire lifecycle of our access control and video surveillance infrastructure—from initial design and project management for new builds to day-to-day operational support and break/fix resolution. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the resilience and efficiency of our security technology across all of Ripple's global operations.

A core responsibility of this role will be to utilize technical solutions to supplement existing processes, ensuring our program remains cutting-edge and adept at growing with Ripple’s evolving risk profile. You will be required to go beyond traditional management by:

  • Leveraging Technology to Enhance Processes: Proactively identify and deploy innovative technical solutions to enhance existing physical security processes. This includes integrating AI-driven analytics, automation, and advanced data correlation to improve efficiency, reduce manual oversight, and provide proactive threat intelligence.

  • Driving a Culture of Innovation: Provide thought leadership on emerging security technologies and recommend ways to "future-proof" our systems, anticipating future threats and integrating solutions that will allow Ripple's technical security program to scale effectively.

  • Ensuring Adaptability: The role will be at the forefront of ensuring our technical security infrastructure remains flexible and resilient, ready to adapt to new and complex threats as Ripple’s business and global footprint evolves.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technical security, providing thought leadership on emerging technologies and advising on the architecture, engineering, and integration of all physical security systems globally.

  • Design, implement, and maintain Ripple's global technical security infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, resilience, and efficiency across both on-premise and cloud environments.

  • Develop and enforce global physical security standards and technical specifications to ensure long-term resilience and compliance with internal, external, and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of physical security projects, including developing and driving roadmap and budget requirements for design-build, break-fix, and preventive maintenance (PPM).

  • Lead vendor relationships, measuring the performance of third-party contractors and security integrators to ensure successful installation, troubleshooting, and continuous support for all security systems.

  • Oversee system administration, configuration, and maintenance of security systems, including monitoring and managing all software and firmware updates to ensure consistent functionality.

  • Deploy innovative security solutions leveraging existing tool suites and your  deep knowledge of the latest technological advancements to achieve effective risk management and efficiencies.

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure that all technical security systems meet and exceed regulatory and company requirements.

  • Provide expert technical support in-region for new security systems and, where necessary, lead the project management of security system changes from planning to progress reporting.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Expert knowledge demonstrated by at least 5+ years’ experience with increasing responsibility working with enterprise physical security systems (access control, visitor management, and CCTV systems - Avigilon, Alta Open preferred).

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of information technology operations supported by work experience, education or certification including ITSM/ITIL, PMP, etc.

  • Experience managing people, projects and vendors with successful delivery on-time and on-budget.

  • High level of integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters with an appropriate level of judgment and maturity

  • Tenacity and ability to build from scratch are essential
