Job Description - Global Impression Director


The Global Impression Director supports the global marketing team in bringing strategies to life and creating innovative and personalized communication that makes a difference for our clients. This position is responsible for conducting global market research, assisting in building product lines for all channels that grow market share and profitability. This position will manage a diverse team and must be able to bring all regions together for a shared mission.

  • Publish annual marketing plans for each location in Q3 to establish sales growth plans.
  • Provide marketing spend vs. sales ration reporting in the annual marketing plan.
  • Complete and analyze quarterly marketing ROI report; reconcile against budget for each location.
  • Manage all digital marketing spending and implement strategy, including Amazon.
  • Develop and activate Impression growth strategy to achieve positive Company Identity
  • Work with product development, sales, and global team to achieve channel growth objectives.
  • Own and lead Impression channel strategy.
  • Publish and manage the 3 (three) year roadmap for digital experiences.
  • Utilize innovative and sustainable use of all digital assets.
  • Drive product innovations through the market and customer research, product trends, product analysis and product development.
  • Partner with global supply chain to identify programs to increase efficiency and collaboration.
  • Execute inspiring marketing programs for product lines, using creative methods to reach customers.
  • Spearhead strategic marketing direction includes Annual Marketing Plan, in addition to specific business initiatives.
  • Oversee the performance of the team related to promoting the Company, communications with internal and external customers, strategic use of graphics, logos, and promotional products.
  • Develop and implement sales support strategies including inventive use of mail, email, web content, onsite launches, education seminars, public relations, and other forms of outreach.
  • Represent Company in community involvement efforts, ensuring due diligence in alignment with Core Values and various organizations.
  • Provide recommendations for leadership on new channel strategy, cost savings, multimedia campaigns, and additional strategic topics.
  • Responsible for global newsletter including content, and collaboration with other departments leveraging tools, software, and various forms of communication.
  • Responsible for hands-on involvement in all forms of marketing communications, social media, use of graphics designs, product knowledge, and interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Manage line list for each sales channel
  • Manage Global Sustainability role(s)
  • Oversee Customer Experience and Trade Show departments
  • Other duties as assigned. Duties will remain relevant to the position and similar opportunities will be communicated for consistent growth within each role.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

- Primary office setting

- Occasional travel to off-site trade shows, conferences, or other professional events.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

– Position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.

- Manual dexterity to grasp, pinch, and pull.

- Ability to lift to 40 pounds on occasion.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, Marketing, or other creative focus.
  • MBA in Global Marketing highly preferred
  • 5+ years of leadership experience; global preferred
  • 5+ years related experience in product marketing, channel strategy, data driven marketing and global market research.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft office suite, including Microsoft Publisher, as well as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
  • Proven ability to identify and execute initiatives to meet strategic objectives and marketing goals.
  • Alignment with Company strategy and vision, creative problem-solving and a strong ability to accomplish projects in a timely manner.
  • Effective budget and financial forecasting skills; focus on cost-savings and waste reduction.
