Global PLM NPDI Product Enablement Manager

Job Summary

The Global PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) NPDI (New Product Development and Introduction) Product Enablement Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the integration of product development processes within the organization. This role ensures the efficient management of new product development, from concept to commercialization, by enabling best-in-class product lifecycle management tools, processes, and methodologies. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that product data is properly managed, migrated, standardized, and streamlined across the entire development lifecycle within the NPDI process for global product lifecycle systems. This role plays a pivotal role in ensuring product innovation, quality, and time-to-market objectives are achieved globally.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the data management continuous improvement of global PLM systems that support the NPDI process and ensure it is optimized.


• Enforce data governance policies to ensure consistency, accuracy, and traceability of product data throughout the lifecycle.


• Define the scope, timeline, and resources required for the migration of product data, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and NPDI timelines


• Lead the efforts in mapping legacy system data to the new PLM system, ensuring data compatibility, transformation, and integrity


• Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure that all product data is accurate, consistent, and complete before migration


• Coordinate testing and validation of migrated data to ensure it meets quality standards and that the new PLM system functions as expected


• Manage the day-to-day execution of data migration activities including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data, ensuring that timelines are met and any issues are promptly addressed.


• Identify opportunities to improve data migration processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and minimize errors in future migrations.


• Ensure that all product-related processes comply with regulatory and quality standards on a global scale


• Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on process performance, product development timelines, and system performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Process Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience


• 5+ years of experience working with Oracle Fusion and enterprise systems, including hands-on exposure to data migration, integrations and customizations using REST APIs and related integration frameworks.


• Lead IT operations and end-to-end project delivery, setting priorities, timelines, and standards 


• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with goals 


• Manage technical teams, assign tasks, and oversee performance, resources, vendors, and budgets 


• Oversee system development, implementation, security, and overall performance and reliability 


• Plan, monitor, and control project progress, risks, and deliverables to meet deadlines and quality standards 


• Evaluate technologies, drive continuous improvements, manage changes, and report on project status and outcomes


• Ability to understand complex product development systems and translate them into user-friendly processes for cross-functional teams


• Strong knowledge of new product development processes and project management methodologies


• Strong experience with data migration tools, ETL processes, and data mapping techniques.


• Proven experience in integrating enterprise applications with internal and external systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, and other enterprise integration technologies.


• Experience in OTBI reports
