A highly regarded law firm is seeking a Global Privacy and Cybersecurity Associate to join its internationally recognized practice group in New York. About the Role

As an associate, you will:

• Assist with breach response and preparedness activities, ensuring clients are equipped to handle cybersecurity incidents effectively.

• Advise on compliance with existing and emerging privacy law frameworks in the U.S. and internationally, including GDPR, CPRA, and other global regulations.

• Represent clients in regulatory investigations related to privacy and cybersecurity issues.

• Work alongside top-tier attorneys in a team-oriented setting while contributing to innovative solutions for complex legal challenges.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2–3 years of experience (class of 2021–2022) handling privacy and cybersecurity matters.

• Large law firm experience with an excellent academic record, exceptional analytical skills, and strong writing abilities.

• A keen interest in privacy and cybersecurity law and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Active New York Bar membership (preferred but required within one year of joining).
