Our success is fueled by the brightest minds, supported by a flexible, outcome‑focused work environment designed for a distributed global workforce.

We are seeking a Global Safety Manager to champion and execute our corporate Health & Safety programs across North America and with global partners. This role ensures consistency, accountability, and ongoing improvement in our safety culture while supporting our manufacturing locations and internal stakeholders.

Position Overview

In this influential role, you will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) systems across the network. You’ll work closely with manufacturing sites to ensure standards are understood, met, and continuously improved. The Global Safety Manager is a key partner in strengthening capabilities, driving alignment, and building a world-class safety culture across Twin Disc.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Execution

  • Manage the development and delivery of corporate EHS systems and programs to promote a culture of safety.
  • Ensure EHS processes, risk management systems, and compliance protocols meet legal and enterprise requirements.
  • Provide leadership and support for corporate-wide EHS initiatives.

Incident Management & Prevention

  • Conduct incident investigations, ensuring proper root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Support sites in managing first aids, recordables, and return‑to‑work processes to ensure proper employee care and reduce workers’ compensation costs.

Compliance & Auditing

  • Perform and manage EHS audits to verify compliance with corporate standards.
  • Assist sites in developing annual EHS plans to close gaps, maintain compliance, and drive continuous progress.

Coaching & Collaboration

  • Serve as a trusted EHS resource to manufacturing sites, offering day‑to‑day guidance and onsite support when needed.
  • Influence cross‑functional teams and leaders, building strong relationships to achieve safety objectives.
  • Strengthen EHS knowledge and capabilities across the network through coaching and training.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or equivalent; OR 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in health and safety, ideally within manufacturing.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance program development.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental impacts and health & safety risks in industrial environments.
  • Experience managing critical incidents, serious injuries, and crisis responses.
  • Proven ability to audit EHS programs and drive corrective actions.

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong coaching, communication, and people‑management abilities.
  • Ability to influence teams and leaders regardless of reporting structure.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to build strong partnerships across the network.

Why Join Twin Disc?

We offer a supportive and flexible workplace where your expertise truly matters. Our competitive Total Rewards package includes:

  • 401(k) with exceptional employer match
  • Generous paid time off
  • Wellness Program participation
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with robust resources
  • Opportunity to work with a diverse, high‑performing global team
