POSITION OVERVIEW

The position will be responsible for generating sales leads and expanding the customer base and existing approaches to business development and recommending changes accordingly. Continually, conducting research to identify new business opportunities. Ensuring compliance and deadlines to drive high net worth opportunities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning and implementation of business plans for the penetration of new markets.
Manage the sales and marketing functions of a business to maximize returns and expand a business brand.
Direct all customer relationship activities to ensure delivery of high-quality service.
Collaborate with company top executives to set business objectives and development goals.
Set up meetings with customers to deliver sales pitches and conduct sales of company products and services.
Conduct market research to identify

developments/changes

in industry trends to make necessary adjustments.
Establish strategic partnership with other companies to leverage on their network.
Oversee the interviewing, recruitment, and training of business development personnel.
Review current approach to business development and make changes where necessary.
Assign sales quota and target to business development team and sales/marketing units.
Offer incentives to high-performing staff to encourage sales performance in an organization.
Ensure business processes and standards are in accordance with regulations and policies set by appropriate authorities.
Conduct negotiations to determine contract terms and ensure profitable deals.
Set and enforce customer service standards to ensure clients are satisfied with received products/services
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience,
Undergraduate degree in logistics or related business field.
Experience with Logistics processes, systems, and solutions.
Requires a minimum of 5-7 years of logistics sales experience.
Self-disciplined, strong leadership and motivational abilities.
Creative ability in developing sales strategies and solutions and in presenting innovative solutions to customers.
Ability to travel to obtain goals.
Participate in networking events, conferences, round tables and trade shows events.
Proven success in meeting sales goals in previous roles, with a strong desire to win.
Sales management experience in a supervisory or management role
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access)
Excellent verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills; ability to actively listen and respond to questions with complete and accurate answers.
Effective negotiator and clear communicator of ideas and solutions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
