Job Description - Global SIOP Manager

Eaton\u2019s EPG CHD HQ division is currently seeking a Global SIOP Manager. This is a remote position based in the United States. Relocation is not provided. \n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe primary function of this role is to drive deployment of SIOP processes and tools across GEIS global organization to focus on the ties to Material Management and inventory optimization, while driving digitization and standardization. The global SIOP processes and tools will serve to increase the depth and breadth of the SIOP process within the organization, ultimately to provide each business and step owner with information to monitor the financial and operational activities of the business. \n\nSpecific tasks associated include: Partner with SIOP Step Owners across all levels of the organization to provide analytic services, support and assist in the development and execution of SIOP processes and tools, oversee/build working relationship with the Pune analytic team, participate and support special projects and ad-hoc data analysis upon request on an as needed basis. Will serve as the liaison to the Global Finance team for the IRR SiOP step and assist in Profit Plan and Strategic Planning based off of forecast modeling to better support Supplier Capacity and overall supply base resiliency to reduce supply chain disruption and achieve business growth. \n\nThis role will serve as the strategic side of the new Foresight model; this manager will own the integrity of the SIOP data as it will 1) become the financial forecast (the single plan), and 2) roll under the 4 month window for execution.\n\nIn this role you will:\n\n * Support and work to enhance current SIOP processes and tools globally with focus on digitization and standardization.Support PLM and Demand Planning in growing maturity and stability with forecasting tools and improvements in forecast accuracy (including MAPE and bias metrics), and loads within SAP. Support manufacturing sites/networks in growing maturity and stability with inventory management, capacity planning within SAP and maintaining supply resiliency. \n * Develop standard work \u2013 including SAP screens and work instructions designed for new users and role continuity, aligned to material management policies geared toward maturation.Identify and drive maturity around SIOP-focused KPIs\n * Lead Profit Planning data collection from monthly data\n * Generate policies and procedures to create intercompany data stream\n * Partner with execution side team member and Network Planning for high fidelity plans\n * Step 1 - drive portfolio health via SKU rationalization/portfolio complexity reduction/VAVE, better connect with NPI and articulate downstream ramifications of new products, to include canibalization, SAP accuracy, appearance in forecast in Step 2, and capacity impacts in Step 3; Step 2 - build demand management competence, drive metrics and identify improvement actions around forecast accuracy and bias KPIs, performance to plan, performance MTD/QTD/YTD and comparisons to prior year and strategic plans; Step 3 - drive supplier performance data and actions to improve, lead time reduction activities (supplier and in house LTs), capacity at a work center level, consensus plan generation; Step 4 - fill chart and data suite of current month/quarter/year performance versus plan, SIOP to Financial Plan Alignment.; Step 5 - support Global GEIS Executive Review and standardize to Kinaxis standards\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic (Required) Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree from an accredited institution.\n * Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Material Management using an ERP/MRP system.\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
