Global Supply Manager - Wire, Cable, Rope

• Build and scale global supply chains for next-generation humanoids, from internal wiring to structural cable systems

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for wires, custom cables, and precision ropes
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard global suppliers that meet quality, cost, and delivery standards
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to secure favorable agreements
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure materials meet technical and quality specifications
• Support cost optimization initiatives while ensuring high reliability
• Conduct supplier benchmarking and stay informed on tech and pricing trends
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and ensure compliance with contractual terms
• Implement risk mitigation strategies, including alternate sourcing and diversification
• Provide technical support for DFM efforts with a focus on connectivity and actuation systems
• Manage supplier audits and drive improvements where necessary
• Work closely with manufacturing, operations, and quality teams to ensure integration

Must-Haves:

• Proven experience in sourcing or procurement of wires, cables, ropes, or connectivity hardware
• Strong technical knowledge of cable construction, termination methods, and material standards
• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of managing supplier relationships
• Experience conducting supplier audits and implementing corrective actions
• Familiarity with ERP systems and sourcing tools
• Data-driven approach to problem-solving and cost analysis
• Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration experience
• Chinese proficiency is a plus

Compensation

At 1X your work and results will be rewarded with a total rewards package consisting of a base salary, stock options and benefits. Base salary range is $120,000 to $180,000. Your actual salary will be based on your knowledge, skills and experience.
