GM Certified Diesel Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Diesel Technician to join our team at General Motors. As a Diesel Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and safety of our diesel-powered vehicles. From routine maintenance to complex repairs, you will utilize your expertise and attention to detail to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic tests on diesel engines and related components to identify issues accurately.


• Repair and replace diesel engine components, such as fuel injectors, turbochargers, and exhaust systems.


• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems to diagnose and resolve complex problems.


• Follow manufacturer guidelines and technical specifications to ensure quality repairs and service.


• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.


• Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended repairs.

Requirements:

• General Motors certification as a Diesel Technician.


• Proven experience working with diesel engines in an automotive or related environment.


• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.


• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.


• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


• Excellent communication and customer service skills.


• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid US Driver's License


• Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs


• Basic computer knowledge to complete data entry


• Ability to read and write English and perform basic math
