Position Overview:

Courtesy Chevrolet Fleet Service, is seeking a dedicated and motivated professional who has a passion for cars to join our team as a GM Certified Technician. You will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance work in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards for an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough inspections of customers' vehicles and provide repair recommendations to service advisors.


• Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, steering, brakes, suspension, transmission, and air conditioning with minimal supervision.


• Handle heavy engine vehicle repairs during the initial appointment.


• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.


• Safely care for vehicles until returned to the Service Advisor or customer.


• Read and comprehend written instructions and information.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.


• Basic computer competencies.


• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality.


• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.


• Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively.


• Own basic set tools for the job.


• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a GM technician


• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.


• Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.

• $60,000 - $160,000 yr
