GM Factory trained technician Starting at $26 per flag hour

Description of the role:

Seeking a skilled and motivated GM Factory trained technician to join our team in Hemet, CA. As a GM trained technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various GM vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.

Job Type: Full-Time 

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Some Saturdays as needed

Responsibilities:

• Keeping accurate records of work performed


• 
  

  Diagnose and repair all aspects of vehicles accurately and efficiently. Performing quality control checks on repairs

  
  


• 
  

  Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, and tire rotations

  
  


• 
  

  Use GM factory diagnostic equipment (GDS2, Techline, etc.) and service information

  
  


• 
  

  Document work performed and complete repair orders

  
  


• 
  

  Stay current on GM technical training and certifications

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with service advisors and other team members to ensure top customer satisfaction

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  GM Certification preferred (or willingness to complete GM training promptly)


• 
  

  ASE Certification(s) a plus

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience (GM-specific experience highly desired)

  
  


• 
  

  Proficient with diagnostic equipment and electronic repair manuals

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  
  


• 
  

  Strong work ethic and attention to detail and  ability to work independently and as part of a team

  
  


• 
  

  Must own basic tools

  
  

Compensation:

$26.00 - $40.00 per flat rate hour paid semi-monthly
