GMP Lab (Gowning Attendant) - Collaborative Environment

Position: Gowning Attendant

Classification: Hourly

Reports to: Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective:

The Gowning Attendant is responsible for keeping assigned cleanroom areas clean and orderly condition and free of contamination. The ideal candidate will be flexible, responsible, highly motivated, able to multi-task and pay high attention to detail.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Laundry

• Organize garments
• Organize shoes (if necessary)
• Put away clean laundry

Corridor/Airlock

• Wipe the shoe cleaner handle & button
• Wipe flat surfaces of shoe cleaner
• Thorough cleaning of shoe cleaners
• Wipe ALL door handles
• Change shoe cleaner vacuum bag (Monthly)
• Clean floor mats at the end of the shift

Gowning Dirty Zone

• Restock IPA wipes
• Restock glove dispenser
• Wipe flat surfaces of the “Self Cleaning” station
• Wipe flat surfaces of step-over benches
• Wipe trash cans
• Wipe all shoe cubbies (weekly)
• Wipe laundry shoot frames
• Wipe glove dispenser
• Wipe laptop rack – counter & dividers
• Wipe phone/badge bin
• Wipe cabinet handles
• Organize laptop rack cabinet (if necessary)

Gowning Transition Area

• Verify all hangers are organized in the correct order
• Drawers: Top-off inventory from cabinets (throughout shift)
• Face Masks
• Bouffants
• Caps
• Suits
• Socks

Cabinets: Replenish Inventory from rom (at end of shift)

• Caps
• Suits
• Socks
• Wipe hanger fixture
• Wipe gowning sections
• Wipe trash cans
• Wipe ALL drawer/cabinet handles
• Thorough cleaning of all drawers/cabinets (monthly)
• Purge all garments for laundering (Wednesday & Fridays)

Gowning Clean Zone

• Restock glove dispenser
• Wipe glove dispenser
• Wipe ALL shoe horns
• Wipe ALL drawer/cabinet handles
• Wipe door handle
• Wipe safety glasses case
• Wipe laser glasses case
• Wipe trash cans
• Wipe ALL shoe cubbies (weekly)
• Wipe flat surfaces of “Laser in Use” sign
• Disinfect ALL shoes in upside-down orientation (at end of shift)
• Thorough cleaning of ALL drawers/cabinets (monthly)
• Verify inventory level of respirators (Restock if needed)
