GMP Tool Center Specialist - Immediate Start

Summary/Objective:

The Tool Center Specialist is responsible for providing parts cleaning and packaging in EUV Manufacturing per San Diego requirements. The ideal candidate will be flexible, responsible, highly motivated, and able to multi-task.

Essential Functions:

• Cleaning of Parts
• Packaging in EUV Manufacturing, parts should be dry before packaging in order to avoid recontamination.
• Ensure product cleanliness and to prevent any other contamination after cleaning
• Assembly must take place in one go, with a minimum of interruptions, so that exposure to contamination sources is minimized in time.
• Works in controlled environments where strict rules and procedures must be followed to prevent contamination.
• Wears specific cleanroom garments while working for safety purposes.
• Follows and executes client’s cleanroom SOPs and documentation.
• Performs proper cleaning methods such as vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning all work surfaces/equipment, mopping of walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Willingness to learn new concepts to understand cleanroom techniques and demonstrate proper cleanroom behavior fully always.

Requisite Experience:

• No experience is necessary. We are willing to train the right individual, but they must be detail-oriented and possess the willingness to learn new concepts and demonstrate the ability to perform highly detailed work.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

• Due to cleanroom regulatory requirements, wearing makeup is not allowed to include fake eyelashes, drawn on eyebrows, fake nails, and nail polish (or any other makeup). Good hygiene skills required.
• Open availability: Overtime work and schedule adjustments may be needed/necessary. Holiday work may also be required.

Supervisor Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Work Environment

Clean rooms, controlled environments and technical rooms that typically have positive pressure, are HEPA filtered, adhere to a clean working environment, and have specific ways to enter and exit the assigned work area. Gowns must be worn for the protection of the room and products. Temperatures are cooler than a normal office building with controlled humidity.

Physical Demands

The job duties require an employee to bend, reach, and stand and walk for extended period of time. Pushing, lifting and carrying items less than 30lbs. Kneeling, squatting and crawling. Repetitive use of hands, wrist, arms, and legs. Including climbing stairs and ladders..
