Golang Developer

We are currently searching for a Golang Developer (MES Shopfloor Support):

Responsibilities:

• Provide hardware and software support on the shopfloor, ensuring business continuity in the manufacturing environment.
• Support MES (Manufacturing Execution System) platforms to minimize production downtime due to IT issues.
• Configure, install, and test MES hardware for new production lines and workstations.
• Deliver field support for production areas including desktops, printers (BC, MFG), RF guns, scanners, and label applicators.
• Cover one of three rotating shifts to support operational continuity onsite at the factory.
• Perform annual preventive maintenance on MES hardware and support weekend projects, including equipment patches, physical inventories, and testing.
• Train production line workers on new systems and equipment.

Requirements:

• Field/shopfloor support experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with hardware support: desktops, thermal printers (Zebra, SATO), BC printers, RF guns (Motorola, Intermec), handheld/fixed scanners, label applicators.
• Hands-on experience with Windows 10, Office 2010 and later, and basic SQL queries.
• Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Good communication skills in English (minimum 70% proficiency).
• Must be able to work onsite at the factory in Santa Catarina, Monterrey, Mexico.
• Strong service attitude, sense of urgency, responsibility, and teamwork.

Desired:

• Knowledge of Vision Cameras (COGNEX) and interaction with OPC software/systems.
• Experience with PLC integration through OPC systems.
• Own car or no mobility limitations.

Languages:

• Advanced Oral English.
• Native Spanish.
